Recently, we had the honor of photographing a young couple anticipating their first child together. The grandmother-to-be reached out to me, excited to surprise her daughter and son-in-law with a special gift. With their baby shower just around the corner, she asked if we could have a print ready from their session—something that would capture the love, anticipation, and excitement of this moment.
She trusted me to select the perfect image, one that I felt truly encapsulated their joy and love for each other. I edited it with great care, ensuring every detail highlighted their beautiful connection, and had the print ready in time for the baby shower.
The Joy of the Reveal
During their reveal and ordering appointment, the couple sat down to view their gallery of images. Each photo showcased a different layer of their journey, making it difficult to narrow down favorites. With gentle guidance, they reluctantly set aside one last image from their final selection—the very one that was had already been chosen to gift them. When they learned that this image was already part of their gallery, they were not only surprised but very happy to have this image as well.
